System of UCSI

In UCSI University, there are various systems working 

to keep things in order and provide convenience for students. 

The systems are very important such that it keeps the university working in a proper 

and appropriate way which satisfies the students’ requests. 

IIS and LMS system

It is an Internet system which enables students

to select and arrange the timetable for every subject in a new semester,

to download lecture notes and being notified by any announcement, 

and much more functions. 

Most unsatisfactory system which is 

the system of Registrar Office and its progress. 

Beginning of new semester, there were always many students waiting long time

at Registrar Office to do their course selection.

Registrar Office should upgrade their system in order to speed up its progress. 

The results of the courses in previous semester should be released earlier,

 so that students will not have to rush to do their course selection and mess up their timetable. Besides, the counter in Registrar Office should 

also be increased so that the progress can be improved. 

System working at Finance Office

According to survey research,

students are not very satisfied with the system at Finance Office. 

The queue at Finance Office has always been very long 

and 

parents that come to UCSI to pay fees have to wait for a long time too.

Finance Office should be improved and 

the Internet line they used should also be changed into a rapid line in order 

to speed up the process.

Academic

According to our survey,

Major academic problems is student having difficulty in understanding lecturer’s class.

Student should:

. Being prepared before going to the lecturers.

Ask for advise when the lecturer's consultation hour.

Other problem that students faced is the study materials provided 

by the lecturers are insufficient. 

Lecturer will not spoon feed students like how they were used to be in high school anymore. 

UCSI Library provided by UCSI contains 

a lot of useful information for students such as textbooks. 

We must have the motivation to get them by ourselves.

Equipment & Facilities Problem

As the picture,

Lacking of parking place are most popular problem in Campus.

For those who have drive car to Campus,

if you can't get find a parking,

you can try to park your car at the hill top of school

or

at the GIANT supermarket there.

There are RM 1 per entry.

Temperature of classroom also a annoyance of students.

Temperature of classroom sometime very hot and sometime cold like refrigerator compartment.

So,

if you are too cold or too hot,

you can require lecturer to adjust the temperature. 

Self management

Self management are very important in our University Life!!

This situation always will occur.

So,

we provided some suggestion at here.^__^

Lacking of time management

Setting schedule is the most basic ways of managing our time.

Discipline is needed before everything else comes in to have a good time management.

Spending free time wisely is also a key to time management.

Taken the few hours class break time in the library to 

catch up with your studies and finishing your assignments 

earlier than others are better rather than going for a movie with a bunch of friends.

‘finish your work before you play’

Stress efficiently

Guys,

Remember that smoke, drink or taking pills are not some good ways to manage stress!!

Managing our schedule is also a good way to avoid unnecessary stress.

 Always look at things in a positive ways. 

Every stressful challenge is a good way to keep us improving and to be mature.

Accommodation

UCSI University have a lot of Non-locals Student.

So, we also offer some information accommodation to 

convenient those non-locals students settle their accommodation problem. 

UCSI University have provided hostels to non-local students.

Hostel stated at Campus Block D.

Campus Hostel provide twin-sharing air-conditioned room.

It is segregated into male and female quarters 

&

equipped with a common visiting area for family and freinds.

Cafeteria & Food Stall

In Campus, there are a lot of Cafeteria and food stall.

So,

you no need worry about your meal.

I feel there food are most delicious at UCSI.（¯﹃¯）

When lunch time,

whole school cafeteria also almost FULL.

If you can't wait for a place,

you can try to go restaurant outside of Campus.

This is MPH Hall, at Block A 5th Floor.

It always is a venue for event and exam hall.

It also is a place to let difference club practice.

Facilities & Equipment of UCSI University

UCSI University have provide us a lot of facilities and equipment 

such as

Free Wifi at every Block, Drinking water machine and so on.

Campus has provide computer let us online.

It at Block A, 1st Floor.

Time for use are limited, as 20 minutes.

Here is the GYM Room. Every Student also can come.

The fees was include in our tuition fees.

It at Block A, garret.

Opening hour: 9 am-9 pm.

UCSI University also have offer us free bus service.

Bus Route: UCSI University (South Wing) → Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) →

 UCSI University (North Wing) .

You can wait the bus at Block C, 1st Floor.

Bus Service Hour: 7 am-8 pm.

PEAK Hour: 12 pm til 6 pm.

Campus also have provide a lot computer let us can online at school.

Here also have supply 4 printers can let us PRINT NOTE.

There are at Block B,4th Floor.

You just need bring your own paper then can line up use the printer.

If you are lucky than you soon be able to print your material.

Otherwise,

if you are bad luck, then you may wait long time. (>.<)

When a New Semester Start, 

there will be lot of students go there print note.

If the printer are no ink or malfunction,

then you can go Block B,5th floor Computer Office to find the staff settle it.

that means the book may be borrowed on a ONE-DAY PRIVILEGE only. 

If the book does't has any color dot,

means the book can borrowed on 7 days privilege.

How to log in to your own primary Library account of e-Library OPAC

User ID: same as your Student ID.

PIN: Combination of your last 6 digits number of your ID + Date of Birth (Month & Date)

Example: ID - 1001123456

D.O.M - 12.08.1993

=1234560812

If cannot log in, please approach Counter.

You can online searching the book which you want have a look or borrow is available or not.

You also can renewal the book by online and only one time per book.

And 2nd time of renewal, you should do at Counter.

Every person can do 2 times renewal,

after than you should return back the book.

At the same time, student maximum can borrow 3 books.

Time out return book will be fined. (>.<)

Offices of UCSI University

Hey, friend. 

If you want quickly to settle your thing or want to find consultation about course/ fees.

Then,

you must know where are the offices. 

In Campus Block A, 2nd floor totally have 4 offices. 

If you want handle affairs in one of the offices,

then you should come this "Lucky Draw Box" to get your Lucky Number.

And 

ONE ticket number for ONE student ONLY.

So if you go with friend,

please remember to take numbers same as your number of people.

If not,

the counter staff will ask you go take number one by one

and you should wait AGAIN!!!

This is Registrars Office,

we call it as "RO".

There has 4 counters.

If you are new student, you can take your Student ID Card.

If you have problem with doing Course Selection, you can come here ask for help.

Before Final Exam, you should come here to collect your Exam Token.

Otherwise, if you want get your Semester Result or Transcript, you can apply at here also.

Here is Financial Office,

has 6 counters.

You can pay your Tuition Fees or other fees at here.

3 counters are here.

Every International student can come here ask for consultation.

You can come here to find out the information about Academic Programmes/ Course fees.

Those offices are in Block A, 2nd Floor.

Office hour are between 9 am-6 pm.

Our school's office have PEAK Season. o(╯□╰)o

When a new semester start,

if you have anything should settle at there,

then you should early morning go there.

If you are later,

then you should ready for waiting.

Because we have tried get number a difference of 200 

from the serving number to my number,

we wait till 6 pm,

also not yet our turn.

It is a tragedy. (T__T)

It is Computer Office.

If you want use school Free Wifi then you should go there active your student ID.

And if you want to use your own laptop to online, you need to bring your laptop to there let the staff active your laptop to access log in school WIFI.

Any malfunction of school's computer, also can go there ask for advice.

Block A has Executive Floor, Book Store, Cafeteria, Assembly Hall, Office and Pharmacy Lab.

 Block B are Library, Computer Lab, Cafeteria and Computer Office.

Besides that, Block C is Academic Block and Department of different Courses.

And the last, Block D is Student Dormitories.
